Chris Noth

Christopher David Chris Noth is an American actor. He is known for his television roles as Detective Mike Logan on the Law amp Order franchise, as Mr. Big on Sex and the City, and as Peter Florrick on The Good Wife. For all three roles, Noth has received more than one award nomination.

Noth was born in Madison, Wisconsin, one of three sons of Jeanne L. Parr, a former CBS News correspondent, and Charles James Noth, an insurance salesman turned marketingcompany executive who died after a car accident in 1966. He has German and Irish ancestry. During childhood, Noth traveled with his mother and brothers throughout the United Kingdom, Spain and Czechoslovakia.
